Binaya Subedi’s research examines broader issues of migration and citizenship. The research addresses the challenges and possibilities that immigrant and refugee families create when they collectively migrate across national and international borders. He has published numerous journal articles on topics such as global representations, visual culture and immigrant youth identities. He is co-editor of the journal Educational Studies. His current work includes developing community based leadership programs within marginalized communities that have faced trauma and violence.
