
Dr. Robert Cook is an archaeologist who focuses on family and political structures in early farming communities, inter-regional interaction and the evolution of social complexity, settlement and landscape archaeology, mortuary analysis, experimental archaeology, public interpretation, Fort Ancient, Mississippians and Ohio Valley prehistory. He is a member of the Faculty Oversight Committee of the Newark Earthworks Center at The Ohio State University. Dr. Cook is a Professor in the Anthropology Department at The Ohio State University.
